36 year-old Adam O'Neill has the world at his feet. A young, ambitious and dedicated trainer with a broad range of experience, Adam offers a first-class training service with exceptional facilities and a proven record to match!

Raised in country Victoria, Adam can only remember being around horses doing the track work and strapping duties from a young age. With father Ian being a successful racehorse trainer, this gave Adam a solid grounding as to what attributes were required to break into the tough profession. Having decided to broaden his horizons, Adam went on to learn the craft from the country's elite working for Bart Cummings, Lee Freedman and in later years Steve Richards. Having the privilege to ride such horses as Don Eduardo (2002 AJC Derby winner - $1,685,110), Adam took away this invaluable experience to begin his own racing stable's in 2003 at his Queensland base, after a stint as foreman for his father's large racing stable. Striking success soon after with Toppa's win at the Sunshine Coast in 2003 as Adam's first registered winner, many more followed in the stable's five year presence in Queensland.

With a burning desire to come back to his home state, Adam decided to further enhance his knowledge by gaining a key role under Steve Richards at Racing headquarters Flemington, before re-launching his stable at Bendigo in late 2012.

Priding himself as a great conditioner of horses, Adam also has the skill of riding his own trackwork to help give him a first-hand gauge of how his horses are travelling. Located in central Victoria assists the stable in the vast majority of placement options for their horses.

With his determination, forward thinking, experience and thorough knowledge of the racehorse, Adam will continue to draw on these assets to continue to find success in racing.
